Overview

The ICODE Hip US Calculator serves as a valuable tool for doctors, allowing them to calculate a baby's hip type based on in-person examination data. Doctors input key information such as the date of examination, date of birth, alpha angle, and beta angle into the application. The app then processes this data to determine the baby's hip type and provides a recommendation to the doctor based on the calculation. Built with Flutter, the application offers a user-friendly interface designed specifically for medical professionals. It ensures accurate and efficient calculations, enabling doctors to make informed decisions about patient care. Importantly, the application is intended solely for use by doctors, further emphasizing its role as a specialized medical tool.

My Role

As the lead developer on the ICODE Hip US Calculator project, I was responsible for the entire development lifecycle of the application. This included gathering requirements from medical professionals, implementing the core functionality using Flutter and Dart, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility for both Android and iOS. Additionally, I managed the deployment of the app to both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, ensuring it met all necessary guidelines and standards for medical applications. This was my first Flutter project. The design was provided by the iservices design team, and I implemented it as closely as possible while ensuring a smooth user experience.
